Familycraft Arid Region Updates

This Minecraft mod will enhance the savanna, mesa and desert regions of your world with new mobs, loot, strucutres and a new minor boss. The Familycraft Basic Recipe add-on is required for new loot items to drop.


Cyclone

Cyclones are skined based upon the region they spawn in. Natural cyclones last for less than 60 seconds before they despawn. Temperate regions will see dust cyclones spawn.

Drops items similar to a basic dungeon as well as other items picked up along its path like leaves, woods, dead bushes, sticks, dirt and such. rarely It can drop green apples and other enchanted items.

Camel

There are multiple variants of camel that spawn in desert and mesa biomes each can be tamed, ridden, lead in caravans can carry items when chests are attached.

Elephant

Hyena

Hyenas are not members of the dog or cat families. Instead, they are so unique that they have a family all their own, Hyaenidae. Hyena are aggressive competitors in the bush, not only scavenging on the kills of other animals as it is often believed. They kill and eat baby lion, leopard and other predators

Ostrich

The ostriches are a family, Struthionidae, of flightless birds. Ostriches are only found natively in the wild in a range of open arid and semi-arid habitats such as savannas. Ostrich can be tamed, ridden and carry a smal amount of items if chests are attached.

Zebra

Zebras are several species of African equids united by their distinctive black-and-white striped coats. Their stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual. Zebras can be tamed, ridden and can carry items if chests are attached.

Scorpions

Desert Adobe

Rare structures that appear in desertic areas of the world. Similar to villages they contain resources and villagers.

Mesa Temple

Rare tombs that contain many dangers and as many rewards. Not to be visited by the fait of heart.

Savanna Barn

Rare structure found in Savanna biomes they can appear in one of two variants.
